Originally this track sounded entirely different. It was inspired by The Alan Parsons Project songs like Pipeline or Mammagamma, but it just wasn't working. A while after shelving the song I was messing around with an ARP Odyssey and had dialed in the lead sound. I began playing the lead melody of this song with it and knew that I had to record it. The lyrics were inspired by movies like Robocop and Bladerunner.
